Traditional Lapbooks
Traditional lapbooks use file folders that you fold to create a book. In the lapbook you can put all kinds of little books, foldables, art, and more. It keeps your unit study all together in a neat little presentation.
I love lapbooking! Unfortunately my boys have begun to be "ho-hum" about them. This is why we have started Digital Lapbooks.
Lapbooks are wonderful for kindergartners and elementary school kids. And lots of kids enjoy them throughout their school years. As much as I love using technology, I would still recommend starting out with traditional lapbooks for younger kids. Nothing beats being able to touch it and see it in the early years of homeschooling.
