Music

The web is a great place to put your original music and to find more original music. There are lots of great site that feature artist's original music. One that I like is Download.com's music department. (Again, not a site I would let young kids play on unsupervised!)

If you need music for your podcasts, check out ccMixter. ccMixter provides free music loops (check the copyright restrictions before using them on the web) that you can combine, use as intros to your podcast, and more.

Garage Band
A great source for Creative Commons licensed music to use on podcasts or videos.

Listening

Napster Free
Napster lets you listen to any song or album free for up to five times. I've used this a lot with unit studies. You can find folk songs, classical music, world music....
